General Data Protection Regulation

1. All rules in regard to the processing and free movement of personal data and the protection of natural persons will be displayed in this regulation.

2. Fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons and their personal data protection will be protected under this regulation.

3. The free movement of data within the Union shall be neither restricted nor prohibited for reasons connected with the protection of natural persons and regard to the processing of personal data.


‘personal data’ means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;
